Day 1: Fundamentals of Data Visualization and Superset
Introduction to Data Visualization: Role in decision-making and communication
Types of Data Visualizations: Charts, graphs, maps, and dashboards
Data Preparation for Visualization: Cleaning, transforming, and shaping data
Introduction to Apache Superset: Overview, installation, and connecting to data
Hands-on Activity: Creating basic charts and dashboards in Superset
Visual Perception Principles: How humans interpret visuals and cognitive load
Designing Effective Visuals: Color theory, typography, and layout design
Superset Advanced Features: Custom queries, filters, and parameterized dashboards
Introduction to Mapbox: Geographic data visualization and customization
Practical Session: Creating interactive maps using Mapbox and Superset
Adding Interactivity and Animation: Enhancing engagement and exploration
Visualizing Complex Relationships: Network diagrams, hierarchies, and interconnected data
