New Blog: Becoming An Effective Speaker – ATI Courses
One might think that knowing how to speak publicly, live or in-person, is intuitive, and that anyone can figure out how to do it without guidance. A quality course on Public Speaking is an effective way to improve your skill in this art better, and more quickly. Technical Presentation Skills for Scientists and Engineers is a one-day short-course, a hands-on workshop that covers all the skills necessary to create, practice, and deliver successful technical presentations. As this workshop is offered live, but in a virtual environment, it will stress the important skill of delivering presentations in a virtual environment. A free WEBEX preview of this ATI course is offered in May, and the full ATI workshop is offered in June. Details on both the free preview, and the full workshop can be found at Technical Presentation Skills For Scientists and Engineers – Free WEBEX and Full Workshop .

Solar Eclipse on April 8 – ATI Courses
So, where is the best place to see the April 8 solar eclipse? There are some good viewing places that many people may not even think about. If you are lucky enough to be onboard the ISS, you will get a good show. And, while you are watching the eclipse (with eye protection, of course ), satellites will be recording the event for our post-eclipse viewing pleasure. Have fun on April 8; there is so much to think about while viewing this event.
