Our Mission

The Applied Technology Institute’s mission is to deliver the highest quality professional development continuing education training via open enrollment and on-site courses. ATI provides in-depth practical knowledge and skills needed in science and technology.

Our Instructors

ATI’s instructors are world-class experts. They average 9 to 35 years of experience and are carefully selected for their ability to explain advanced technology in a readily understandable manner. ATI continues to add dynamic instructors to its offerings, as well as frequently updating materials in existing courses to reflect the latest developments in technologies.

Vice President Robert Van Devender

Founder

James W. Jenkins was the founder and executive director of ATI. He was a senior physicist with degrees from Gettysburg College (physics and mathematics) and the University of Wisconsin (physics).  He worked at Raytheon, TSC, and APL.  ATI has provided professional development training since 1984.
