Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) is an introductory course designed for those relatively new to project management who have been or may be assigned to a Project Manager role. Today’s project environment is increasingly complex given the global and interconnected nature of business and emergence of new information technologies. Today’s Project Manager must adapt to these changes and become increasingly nimble in navigating through a myriad of constraints. No longer is a single project delivery methodology adequate and Project Managers must understand the relative strengths and weaknesses of predictive and adaptive approaches to deliver successful project results. Through a combination of presentation, class exercises, case studies, stories, and group discussion, this course prepares participants to lead projects for their organization.
